**throwback post**
During the last long weekend, we decided to take a short escape to Bintan Island to have an advanced 4th year anniversary celebration.
We chose this resort just because of the inexpensive rate and it looks like kampung lifestyle which we would love to give it a try. At first we wanted to book the sea villa but it was full as the weekend is the raya holiday and a lot of people accommodate in the resort too. So, out of no choice, we choose the marine room. Do not expect much, the room is just a basic room.
The resort did provide car rental to town area. After settle down, we rent the car with driver to the town area. As the weekend was raya holiday, so most of the shops are shutted down. So my advice is not to visit during raya holiday. End up, we bought some durians, YES! Durians.... The price is much cheaper than in Singapore... As there is nothing much to visit at the small town, so we just back to resort the enjoy the facilities.
The swimming pool is clean and nice.. There is kayaking and cycling provided and they are free of charge. So good right? There are also pool table, ktv room at the reception there. For the three days, we just chill and relax at the resort which has a very nice and green scenery. No regret to this resort!
